Developing Your Intuition

As far as I know, intuition is another word for instinct. Everybody has it. It is that gut feeling or hunch you have about someone you just met or about a place you want to go. Christians believe it is the voice of the Holy Spirit. Don’t get me wrong. The Holy Spirit’s voice speaks clearly to the heart that is tuned to listen.

Intuition is different from conscience. Please, let’s get that straight from the start. When we’re talking about conscience, we are referring to that faint voice inside you that tells you what you’re about to do, are doing, or have just done is wrong.

Intuition is that feeling you get—a “knowing” about something, someone, or someplace—but often you can’t explain why you feel that way. We may not be able to separate intuition from spiritual awareness. We also can't ignore the scientific evidence that shows intuition is real, but that's not what this article is about.

In this writeup, we are going to talk about how we can develop our intuition. We already know it exists, so how can we harness the power it makes available to increase productivity and make our interactions with other people and our environment more profitable?
